Can it be left outside?

Indeed, our tubs, chillers, and components are designed to withstand various weather conditions, ensuring they remain resistant to the elements. However, to optimize the efficiency and lifespan of your system, we recommend placing it in a covered or shaded area.

For those living in colder climates where temperatures can drop below freezing, we offer the hot + cold chiller option. This will prevent your system from freezing over and keep it functioning smoothly.

Our chiller has undergone testing in outside temperatures as low as 10°F, proving its reliability in chilly conditions. Nevertheless, it's essential to keep the system running continuously if you're using it in below freezing temperatures to prevent any damage.

Please be cautious as using the chiller below 10°F may lead to potential harm or damage to the unit.

Who should not participate in cold/hot water immersion?

Individuals who have preexisting medical conditions must seek advice from their healthcare provider before engaging in cold/hot water immersion activities.

How often do I need to change the water?

Our filtration system with a 5-micron filter and an integrated ozone generator / UV sanitizer works continuously to remove sediment and bacteria from the water. If you are using the sanitation kit correctly, we advise changing the water every 90 days.

However, if you choose not to use the sanitation kit, we recommend changing the water more frequently, approximately every 1-2 weeks.

Please keep in mind that these suggested time frames may vary depending on how often you use the system.

What maintenance is required?

You'll find that our system requires minimal maintenance. All you need to do is change the filter cartridge once a month and conduct a weekly water checkup when using our water sanitation kit.

How long does it take to setup?

Our setup process is quick and straightforward, taking only 15 minutes to get you up and running!

To begin, inflate the tub, then connect the two hoses from the water chiller to the inlet and outlet on the tub. After that, fill the tub with water, plug in the chiller, and you're all set to start enjoying your PolarPit!

How cold does the water get?

Our chiller is exceptionally Powerful, capable of reaching temperatures as low as 37°F.

You can also heat the water to a toasty 104°F, offering you the flexibility to enjoy both hot and cold water temperatures for your needs.

How does the water stay clean?

By combining our 5-micron filtration system with the integrated UV sanitizer, you can ensure your water remains fresh and free from sediment.

For even more prolonged clarity and cleanliness, consider using our chlorine-free sanitation kit. It will help keep your water crystal clear and enhance the overall quality of your experience.

How fast can the chiller cool the water?

The 1 hp chiller we offer can cool water from 70°F to 40°F in just 2 hours.

However, it's essential to consider that the actual cooling time may vary depending on the ambient temperature and humidity in your location.

For instance, if the ambient temperature is 90°F, the chiller will take around 4 hours to cool the water from 70°F to 40°F due to the warmer external conditions affecting the cooling process.

What is the maximum inflated pressure of the Tub/Barrel?

Please be cautious not to over inflate the PolarPit Tub or Barrel beyond 8 PSI, as doing so could result in damaging the unit and voiding the warranty. It's essential to adhere to the specified pressure limit to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of the product.

How is the system shipped?

When your PolarPit Premium System is delivered, please be aware that it will come in two separate boxes. For the safety and ease of handling, we recommend asking a friend or buddy to assist you in safely removing the chiller from its box. Having an extra pair of hands can ensure that the process is smooth and secure during unpacking.
